Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
-f(-8)-4g(4)
=-(f(-8)+4g(4))
that's about all you can do with the problem as given
factor out a negative one
if, for example, f(x)=2x and g(x) =4x
then
-f(-8)-4g(4)
=-(-16)-4(16)
=16-64
=-48
or
-(f(-8)+4g(4))
=-(-16+64)
=-(48)
=-48
