During a special promotion, the company earns $20 for each basic model sold and $30 fo each touch screen model sold. How many of each model should the company produce to maximize their profit?

That being said, the answer would be
P(x,y) = 20x + 30y
P(3,8) =20(3) + 30(8) = 300
P(18,8) = 20(18) + 30(8) = 600
P(3,15) = 20(3) + 30(15) = 510
P(12,12) = 20(18) + 30(12) = 600
Therefore, the max profit is 600. The company should produce 18 basic models and 8 touch screens, or 12 basic models and 12 touchscreens
