1:20-12 = 1 hour and 20 minutes

sum = 2 hours and 40 minutes = the time between 10:40 am and 1:20 pm

or

you could convert 1:20 into military time = 13:20

13:20 - 10:40 = 2 hours and 40 minutes

10:40 + 2:40 = 10+2:40+40 = 12:80 = 1:20
