Amon is purchasing new window blinds for his home.

Lowes charges $5 per window blind and an additional $55 as an installation fee. Home Depot charges $9 per window blind with an additional $20 as an installation fee.

Part 1: Which store would charge less for installing 8 window blinds? Justify your answer.

Part 2: How much money is saved by using Home Depot instead of Lowes to install 7 window blinds?

Lowes: 8*5+55= 95

HD: 8*9+20= 92


Part 2:


Same here but now with 7 instead of 8

so like She worked 40 hours at 7 dollars and the remaining at 12 per hour. Those 40 hours get her 8*40=320 dollars. The remaining 380-320=60 dollars is from overtime. 60/12=5, so she worked 5 hours overtime.
