Grade after a test.

Question

If I have a 94% in math but then get a 68% on a test that's worth 25% of my grade, what will I have in that class?

.75(94)+.25(68)

=final grade

= 87.5

if they round up, a common practice, you have an 88, a B+, almost an A-

94 has a weight of 3, 68 a weight of 1

3(94)+1(68) = 282+68= 350

divide by 3+1=4

350/4 = 87.5

round up

= 88
