The 14 in carbon-14 had nothing to do with solving this problem. That might be clearer is this was referenced as carbon-fourteen.
So it is just a matter of substituting 9164 for t in the function definition.
In other words:
A(9164) = 16e-0.000121(9164).
This can be done with a calculator.
