y=6x -3 is the equation in slope intercept form
x intercept is when y=0,
0=6x-3
6x=3
x = 3/6 = 1/2
x intercept is the point (1/2, 0)
plot the y and x intercepts, connect them with a line. That's the graph of the equation
with slope =6 and y-intercept =-3
extend the line in both directions by putting an arrow at the end of each, to indicate the line goes forever. the line segment connecting the two intercepts is just one part of the graph, an actually infinitely small part of the entire infinitely long graph.
