We know that the point intercept form of a line is y - y1 = m * (x-x1) and we have two points, so y - 56 = slope * (x-2), since we only need to have an increasing slope we can set m to an arbitrary positive number so I will pick 1. So now we have an equation we can solve, y-56 = x -2. In order to get to slope intercept form, y = mx + b where the b is the intercept we can solve for y by bringing 56 to the other side and thus we get y = x + 54. Hope that helps!
