The odds of getting a king is 4/52 or 1/13. The odds of getting a queen is the same. However, since you are dealt two cards, your second card will be chosen out of 51 cards. Therefore, the probability could be calculated by taking the product of 1/13 and 4/51.
(For parts two and three) remember a suit contains 13 cards. A king and queen from the same suit requires that you first are dealt one of the four kings in the deck, then a specific queen that matches (there is only one of these in the deck).
