Sarah took the advertising department from her company on a round trip to meet with a potential client. Including Sarah a total of 12 people took the trip. She was able to purchase coach tickets for $390 and first class tickets for $950. She used her total budget for airfare for the trip, which was $9160. How many first class tickets did she buy? How many coach tickets did she buy?

You can use a system of equations based on your information

Let x = people who went Coach

Let y = people who went First Class

Equation 1 for the total number of people

x + y = 12

y = 12 - x

Equation 2 for the total cost

390x + 950y = 9160

You can use Substitution or Elimination to solve your problem.
