On a recent day, one U.S. dollar was worth 0.93 euros. If you were to exchange 125 euros on that day, how many U.S. dollars would you have received?

The answer is 134.3.
You could set this up in fractions, so it would be
0.93/1=125/x and then you would solve for x.
If you cross multiply you would get 125 = 0.93x. 125/0.93=134.4

Could set up a "daisy chain" of fractions to do a dimensional or unit analysis:
$1/0.93 Euros x $125 Euros = $134.41. Notice how the "Euros" kind of cancel each other out, leaving the answer in the required dollar units. This method works nicely for conversion problems like this one and eliminates the need to decide whether to do division or multiplication.
