Slope is change in y/change in x
-1-1/4-0= -2/49= -2/4= -1/2
point slope formula y-y1=m(x-x1), where m is the slope and(x1,y1) are the points.
y-1=(-1/2)(x-0)
y=(-1/2)x+1 Answer
check to see if both points are on it
x=0 y=0
x=4, y= 2+1, and that is -1
