asked • 11/22/22Billy had a 100% in his Math class. He got a 27/34 on his midterm. The midterm is 25%. of his grade. What should his grade be? Someone answered and told me 27% on another site but I need to know what his grade would be. I got 94% but then I also got 91.4% so I need help figuring out what his grade would be. Thank you! If you don't mind giving me the break down of how you came to that answer as well that would be appreciated!
The problem is not clearly stated. Are you saying that 75 % of the class he got 100% and 25%, he got 27/34? What happened to the final?
.75(100) + .25(27/34)(100) = 94.85%
If there is a 25% final yet to come...
(.50(100) + .25(27/34)(100))/.75 = 93.14% before the final

I just meant for his grade so far. He had a 100% going into the midterm. He got a 27/34 on the midterm which was 25% of his grade. After taking the midterm and get his grades back he was left with a 91.4% they were asking if that was correct or not. I also got around 94% instead.11/22/22
