Jack had received a collection of 30 baseball cards and decided he was going to start collecting. If Jack adds 2 stamps every month, how long will it take to have 50 stamps in his collection?

2. Bella opens a savings account with $100 and the bank pays 1% monthly interest rate. How much money will Bella have after 12 months, if she does not deposit or draw an amount?

If someone answers this question they have to determine which equation is linear and which is nonlinear. Then, write a function that models the linear situation and then write 1 ordered pair that is the solution to the situation.

Well, I just need help with both of these questions. One situation is linear and one situation is nonlinear. I'm having trouble figuring out which is nonlinear and which is linear. Next, I have to write a function that models that situation that is linear. Last, I have to write an ordered pair. Can you help me with that or nah?

Please note: Jack starts with baseball cards then adds stamps. I guess he is collecting both, right? BTW, the 2nd one is definitely nonlinear.

So, if Jack starts collecting stamps after he received 50 baseball cards, it will take him 25 more months to have 50 stamps (at 2 stamps per month).
