An international company has 24,800 employees in one country. If this represents 19.1% of employees, how many employees in total

Hello, Angela, Hopefully this helps: You can set this up as a proportion to solve if you'd like! So, you have: 19.1/24,800 = 100/x This makes (cross multiply): 24,800 x 100 = 2,480,000 and 19.1*x = 19.1x Then, divide both sides by 19.1! 2,480,000/19.1 = 129,842.93 (round up using decimals to 129,843). This equals x which equals your total number of employees. Enjoy! Let me know if you have any other questions!
