Overall Grade in Math

If I have an 84% overall in math and I take a quiz that is 35 points and worth 90% of my grade. Is there a certain grade that I can get that will bring my grade to a 90%?

Final Grade = a weighted average

= sum of 84 + 9 times Quiz grade, all divided by 10

(84+9Q)/10 = 90

84+9Q = 900

9Q = 900-84 = 816

Q = 816/9 = 90 6/9 = about 90.7 for the quiz grade to bring the final grade up to 90
