Standard form of a linear equation is Ax + By = C, where A, B, and C are all integers (whole numbers or their opposites)
So, y = 1/2x + 3 We want the x term and the y term both on the same side of the equation.
-1/2x + y = 3 If we add -1/2x to both sides
-x + 2y = 6 If we multiply all terms by 2
