We start by writing the equation in slope intercept form y = mx + b since we are given the slope and y-intercept.
They tell us that our slope or m is 3 and our y-intercept or b is -4.
Therefore our equation in slope intercept form will be y = 3x - 4.
From here, we subtract 3x from both sides to get our x and y terms on the same side.
This gives us -3x + y = -4 which is our final answer.

The Standard Form of the equation of a line is Ax+By=C. By convention, the A coefficient is positive. That makes the answer: 3x - y = 411/15/22
