The total of what Christopher spends has to be less than or equal to (≤) $780. So if we add what he has already spent... on reflectors (22)*(16.82) plus gloves (1)*(24.60) which gives us a total of $394.64 already spent. Then we can make our inequality 394.64+x*43.70≤780 where x is the number of outfits he can buy. I hope that helps!
