or just get an exact solution or rough estimate. round off the big numbers to nearest one or two digits followed by zeros, convert to scientific notation. convert so they have the same exponent on the 10 term, then add the constants, that's a good check on what your calculator calculates, avoiding your finger hitting the wrong key misleading you
