The product of two terms means to multiply them together to get a new term.
In this case, the product of n and 9, means to multiply n*9 to get 9n. The product of those two terms equals 43.
This means we can write our equation as: 9n = 43.
To go further, we could solve for n to determine which integer, when multiplied to n gives us 43.
To do that, we have to isolate n, by performing the operation that undoes multiplication--division!
When we divide both sides by 9, n is isolated on the left-side, and we have 43/9 on the right-side.
