SAT Reading Preparation
It’s “love of reading”. That’s just the way it is said. Love for reading is slightly different in meaning and wouldn’t work in this situation.

asked 10/24/22Which wording is grammatically correct, using ‘OF’ or ‘FOR’ in the following statement:
Mystery Book Collection
Dedicated in her memory and love ‘OF’ reading
……..or………
Mystery Book Collection
Dedicated in her memory and love “FOR” reading
Thanks for your help!

Love to learn and help others learn
I would say that they are both grammatically correct.
For what it's worth, I would favor "love of reading".
But I have a question for you. Is the book dedicated to 2 unrelated objects...
or is the book dedicated to 2 related objects?
Dedicated in her memory and TO HER LOVE of reading

Hi,
For the purpose of the dedication, it should be written either
Dedicated in her memory for her love of reading.
Or
Dedicated in her memory and for the love of reading.
Either way it should be "love of reading"
