Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
x^3 + 2x ^2 + 2x + 5 divided by x^2
= x + 2 + 2/x + 5/x^2
= x +2 + (2x+5)/x^2
= x +2 plus remainder of 2x+5
check the answer:
x^2(x+2 + (2x+5)/x^2)
= x^3 +2x^2 + 2x +5
but given the way the problem is written, it's hard to tell what the problem is
x^3 x 2 + 2x5
might mean
2x^3 + 10
divide by x^2
= 2x + 10/x^2
= 2x + remainder of 10
or maybe the problem is something else
