Just plug the x and y values from each ordered pair into the inequalities. If both inequalities are true after plugging in the x and y values, then the ordered pair is a solution. If one or both inequalities are false, then the ordered pair is not a solution. For example, suppose (1,3) is one of your choices:
x + y > 6
1 + 3 > 6
4 > 6
Obviously 4 is not greater than 6, so this inequality is false. Therefore (1,3) is NOT a solution.
