Slope is chg in y/chg in x (rise/run). Your data translates to 1/-1 or -1/1 (depends on which direction you go) or slope of -1. Then can create linear point-slope equation y - y₁ = m(x - x₁) using any of the ordered pairs.

Ex: y - 0 = -1(x - 4) → y = -x + 4

7 = -x + 4 → x = 4 - 7 → x = -3
