f(x) = 2-x is not a quadratic, it's a linear equation.
Maybe it got copied incorrectly
f(x) =2^-x is also not a quadratic, it's an exponential function
to be quadratic, the variable must have an exponent of 2, such as
f(x) = x^2 or f(x) = -x^2
or a term has variables where their exponents sum to 2, such as
xy = 2 or f(x) =y = 2/x
or f(x) = 2/(x^-1) That's starting to look closer to the original problem as posted
