perpendicular lines have negative inverse slopes. If the original line has slope -1/5, then the perpendicular line has slope=5. the slope is the coefficient of the x term, when the equation is solved for y.
5 = (y- -2)/(x-0) slope = difference in y's over difference in x's
y+2 = 5x
y =5x-2 is the perpendicular line through (0,-2)
y=-2x/9 -10 (0,6)
y=9x/2 +6 is the perpendicular line through (0,6)
(ignore the 8 and 10 from the original equations. They're irrelevant)
