multiply by 2

10C+6T=50

2C+6T =40

subtract

8C =10

C=10/8=$1.25 per Chair

3T=25-5C= 25-6.25

T =18.75/3 = $6.25 per Table

2(1.25)+6(6.25)= 2.5+37.5=40

5(1.25)+3(6.25)=6.25+18.75=25
