Hi Brittany,
Since Landon's house is 1/2 a mile from the school and he has only traveled 1/3 of the distance, he will have only gone part of the distance.
You can multiply the fractions to determine this:
1/3 x 1/2 = 1/6 mile
He would have traveled 1/6 of a mile.
