Like the previous tutor said, it is a multiplication problem. In word problems like these, it helps to underline important information. The problem states that Clifton is 3 feet tall, and that Jayden is five times as tall as Clifton. "Times" is a word for multiplication. So to solve this do "3 * 5" which equals 15. This is correct because Jayden's height is equal to five Clifton's standing on top of one another.
