Hi Yanna! Thanks for asking this question. Sometimes when we study something a don’t quite get the right answer the first person we blame is ourself. Instead, let’s try to continue being positive and look for what we can improve.
It sounds like maybe you should review your notes and see where the disconnect is. Are your notes correct or did you miss a step somewhere in the practice problem?
Next, once you’ve figured out where the misinformation is from, correct it and try going through the examples given in class or textbook/slides to make sure you’re understanding the concept.
Then try a few more practice problems! If neither of these things help, try asking your teacher to go over the example problems you didn’t quite get right.
It’s all learning and sometimes re-learning process, so no need to feel bad about it. Learning is about making mistakes and making corrections. Have a nice day!
