How would i get the equation of a parabola, given 2 points and the y coordinate of the minimum

vertex=(-2,3)=minimum point

plug in either point such as (0,5)

5=4a+3

a=1/2

y= (1/2)(x+2)^2 +3

or

2y= x^2+4x +10
