Because you don't have "or equal to," you'll draw dotted lines, showing that the solution does not fall on either line.

The solution set for the first equation would be everything above your line. Perhaps use a vertical pattern to shade. The solution set for the 2nd is everything below your line. Perhaps use a horizontal pattern to shade.

Everywhere the two patterns intersect is your solution set for the system of equations.
