Since we know that the sum of three angles in a triangle is always 180 degrees we can set the sum of these angles to 180. So my equations will read as follows:
Angle A = x
Angle B = x +11
Angle C = x +16
180 = Angle A + Angle B + Angle C
After I substitute, I get the following:
180 = x + x +11 + x + 16
From there we simply combine like terms and then isolate x:
180 = 3x + 27
-27. -27
153 = 3x
÷3. ÷3
51 = x
Now that we have x I can substitute 51 into the equation for each angle.
Angle A = 51
Angle B = 51+ 11 = 62
Angle C = 51 + 16 = 77
