3y = 4x-12

solve for y, when the equation is solved for y, the constant term is the y intercept

y = 4x/3 -4 where the constant term = -4 or the point (0,-4) is the y intercept

4x = 12

x=12/4=3

x = 3 is the x intercept or the pont (3,0)

connect those two points

(0,-4) and (3,0), with a straight line to graph the equation
