asked 09/05/22Gandalf the Grey started in the Forest of Mirkwood and make a right angle turn
Gandalf the Grey started in the Forest of Mirkwood at a point with coordinates (0, -3) and arrived in the Iron Hills at the point with coordinates (2, 2). If he began walking in the direction of the vector v=3i+2j and changes direction only once, when he turns at a right angle, what are the coordinates of the point where he makes the turn.
I understand what the problem is asking but don't know how to get the final answer

What is the slope of the line for Gandalf's walk?
What would be slope be of the line at the right turn?
Determine the equations of the two lines.
Deteremine the point of interesection of the two lines.
Answer the question.

the slope would be -2/3 and the slope of the right turn would change to 3/2 the equations of two lines are y= -2x+6 and the second equitation would be 2/3x - 3 = y so you would need to combine them to make 2/3x -3 = -2x +6 and try to bring the x and constants to two different sides making 2/3x = (-2)*3/3*x +9 = 8/3x =9, x= 9(3/8) which x = 27/8 since this was declared wrong I am not sure what I am doing wrong or how to fix it09/05/22

and that when you swap using 90 degrees it means that you switch the slope so instead of -2/3 it should be 3/209/05/22
