Just to note here --
I say towards the beginning that (as it tends to relate to some or most other functions) when we have transformations that affect the function graph horizontally, then usually there's no vertical effect - this holds true in terms of the graphical display. However, I want to clarify, in this case -- as seen later on in the video -- even though the reflection over the y-axis is written in terms of the x-variable, it does affect the y-values in a particular way, instead of the typical way of a y-axis reflection (meaning, it'll show itself as flipped signs of the x-values - for exponential functions, a reflection over the y-axis shows itself as the reciprocals of the y-values).
