graphs are when you plot the points and lines
plot the equations or inequalities
usually on a real number line, a two dimensional cartesian coordinate system, or also 3 dimensions.
Hard to graph higher than 2 dimensions.
the graph usually has real numbers, x on the horizontal axis and y on the vertical axis
z on a 3rd dimensional axis if any
but graphing complex numbers will have real numbers on the x axis, and imaginary numbers on the y axis
if you have an equation, go to Desmos graphing calculator online or other online graphing calculators, or a graphical handheld calculator. plug in the equation and the calculator graphs it for you.
to graph a linear equation, find 2 points and connect them. such as the x and y intercepts. plot the two points and run a straight line through them.
quadratic and exponential equations also have standard graphs,
circles, parabolas and hyperbolas
