There's not a one size fits all answer to this. For stock photography, it's best to get a camera that has manual controls, interchangeable lenses, and above 20MP. There are many cameras that fit into this category, and under $1000. If you're looking for a single camera to use for stock and vlogging, it might be easier to find a lighter weight camera that can do stills and video. You might want to look at used equipment. The price is better, and from a reputable dealer can have a lot of life left.
Currently, mirrorless cameras are gaining popularity, and they carry a larger price tag. You might want to consider a DSLR. I would suggest something like a Canon Rebel, though they have less choices in functions. Realistically, you may want to invest into a 80D or 6D. Both of these cameras are heavier, but the photographer has more choices to create the photograph they invision.
