line through (-1,3) and (-2,-1) is (3+1)/(-1+2) =4 = (y+1)/(x+2)
y+1 =4x+8
y =4x +7 is the equation of the line through the two given points, in slope intercept form, slope=4, intercept=7
UNLESS by "=2" you meant +2, as they show up on the same key on most keyboards,
but you didn't use + for the 3,
then the line through (-1,3) and (+2,-1) = 4/-3 = (y+1)/(x-2)
y+1 = -4x/3 + 8/3
y = -4x/3 +5/3
It might help to plot the points, and connect them with a straight line
