When you think unit price you should think about what is the cost for "one." So if they asked about the cost per ounce then you should take the total cost of money spent and divide it by the amount of ounces there are (when you hear "per" think division).
In part A) we would take the $3.59 and divide it by the 13.1 ounces. This gives us a unit price of $0.27 because they said round to the nearest cent.
In part B) we approach it the same way and do $4.35 divided by 24 ounces to get a unit price of $0.18 when rounded.
In part C) we would say that part B) had the better value because you are paying less money for every ounce. Wouldn't you rather pay $0.18 for every ounce than pay $0.27 for every ounce?
Hope this helps!!
