for A). If a 15.3 oz box cost $3.59, you can set up an equation like: 15.3oz =1oz

$3.59. x

to solve this equation, you just need to cross multiply: 15.3x=3.59

and divide: x= 3.59 .

To answer part C) compare your 2 answers and the better value is the one that cost less money per ounce.

You may remember seeing something called a "unit price" on packages of food you (your parents) buy, they are basically doing this calculation for you to(hopefully) get you to buy their brand by showing you it's a better value!
