Hello Percell,
Since this is a two-variable equation we need two different equations to solve for how many pounds of type A.
will use A for pounds of coffee A, and B for pounds of Coffee B.
For the 1st equation will do the pounds of coffee.
Pounds of Coffee A + Pound of Coffee B = Total pounds of Coffee
A+B=152 pounds
which can also be rewritten as
B=152-A
Second equation price per pound
(A)*5.60$/lb +(B)*4.25$/lb =776.95$
to solve plug the first equation into the second equation and will look like this
(A)*5.60$/lb+(152-A)*4.25$/lb=776.95$
now solve for the pounds of coffee A like solving for x
