asked 08/19/22Why was my request to One specific online tutor posted as a general request seeking all tutors
Hello, I’m getting several messages from potential tutors across the country saying they’re interested in helping me with my child but I never actually submitted a request to be posted on my account. Can you please clarify how to remove this? I was only looking for in-person tutors in my area and one person showed up so that’s the person I messaged. I’m not sure why my account has information about what I’m looking for being broadcasted to all tutors.

Hi,
Thats because when you post a request to one tutor, it sends out on the job board for all of us tutors so anyone may apply in case the tutor you messaged doesn’t work out. I think WyzAnt caps it at 5 applications for you to receive.
