after finding S in herons formula i got 5.5 and a = 5 b=5 c=1

S = half the perimeter = (1/2)(5+5+1) = 11/2= 5.5

Area = square root of [(11/2)(11/2- 5)(11/2 -5)(11/2-1)] = sqr((5.5)(.5)(.5)(4.5) = sqr(6.1875= about 2.49

It's an isoscelese triangle with base = 1 and height = (sqr99)/2

area = height x base/2 = sqr99/4 = about 2.49
