if they're complementary angles, the 2nd angle is 90-24 = 66 degrees
if they're supplementary angles the 2nd is 180-24 = 156 degrees
those are two general types of situations that show up on graphs or diagrams.
if this is a problem with equations
given y=mx where m=the slope such as the angle = tan^-1(y/x)
find the perpendicular line with slope -1/m, then the angle is tan^-1(-x/y)
