What is the probability of getting an Odd result or a result from 3 to 7?

The easiest way to do this problem is to write out the sample space and count up the results you want.

Make a 6 by 6 table (spreadsheet) with the sum of the row and column at each intersection (cell).

Then just count the results you need. Be careful the results are NOT independent.
