Math, microeconomics or criminal justice
9+6+(-6)=9+6-6= 15-6 = 9
PEMDAS,the order of arithmetic operations has A before S, which means Addion before Subtraction
but it doesn't make any difference in this problem, which you do first
9+6-6 = 9+0 = 9
although solving it that way may get you a point off on a test or homework
P comes first, Parentheses, but there's nothing to simplify within the parentheses
this all assumes the "2" just numbers the Question, and it's not part of the problem
had the problem been 9-6+6, Adding comes before Subtracting, so you'd get 9-(6+6) = 9-12 =-3
while S before A would incorrectly give you (9-6)+6 = 3+6=9
