Question

how much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? JK. I really am confused on polynomials. How do you find the standard form of one?

In the standard form of a polynomial all like terms have to be combined and terms have to be written in the descending order of exponenets. For example

                                                 P(x) = 9x^3 + 3x^2 -5x + 2

If you are given a product of two or more factors (such as (2x+3)(5x^2 -4)) you have to multiply them and combine like terms.
