y = 2x^3 -x^2 + 3
2x^3 -7 = 0
x^3 = 7/2
x = cube root of 3.5 = about 1.52
y = 2(7/2) -(1.52)^2 +3 = 10-2.3 = 7.7
solution is about (x,y) = (3.5, 7.7)
